At Point Nine, we work closely with some of the most ambitious founders around the world. Our Platform team helps build the communities, connections, and meaningful experiences that support them throughout the company-building journey. As Platform Associate, you'll play a central role in making that happen.

Working closely with our Director of Platform (Laura), our General Partners, and teams across the firm, you'll help shape how founders experience Point Nine — from founder onboarding and ecosystem partnerships to large founder summits, curated dinners, newsletters, and online community touchpoints.

This is a hands-on, highly operational role with a high degree of ownership and autonomy. It's ideal for someone who genuinely loves startups and technology, enjoys bringing builders together, and gets energy from creating exceptional experiences and making complex things run smoothly. We care deeply about quality, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail in everything we put into the world.

What you will do:

• Create exceptional founder experiences: Help design and deliver thoughtful, high-value experiences for our founders and community, online and offline, ensuring founders get the right support at the right time.
• Plan and run events: From Founder Summits, dinners, and masterclasses to university initiatives and broader ecosystem events — you'll own logistics and on-site execution from start to finish.
• Keep things organised: Track timelines, manage budgets, maintain systems (CRM etc.), coordinate founder onboarding, improve workflows, and help us run a very tight operational setup.
• Manage ecosystem partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with leading technology partners and help our portfolio companies access highly relevant tools, resources, and opportunities.
• Contribute across content & communications: Support founder communications and community storytelling across newsletters, social channels, Slack/WhatsApp groups and other channels.
• Improve systems and processes: Notice what’s inefficient, suggest better ways of working, and continuously help evolve how the platform team operates.
• Be a force multiplier: Support the Director of Platform across broader projects while independently owning many initiatives yourself. You’ll also work closely with teams across Point Nine, including Operations, Finance, and the General Partners.

What we are looking for

We don't require a specific degree, but we expect a few years of experience in a fast-paced environment — startups, venture capital, community or ecosystem roles, or early-stage operations. You enjoy being hands-on, care deeply about quality and details, and want to operate close to ambitious founders and operators. Bonus if you have experience running events, managing partnerships, or building communities from the ground up.

Location and setup

This role is based in Berlin. We work in a flexible hybrid setup, but since a big part of this role is creating great in-person moments for our founders and community, we expect you in the office regularly and especially during founder events and community initiatives.
