Key Responsibilities

• Develop, extend, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.
• Take ownership of end-to-end implementation - from requirement analysis and technical planning to delivery and integration within existing architectures.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to unify iOS and Android apps into a shared Kotlin Multiplatform codebase.
• Integrate new features and modules into a well-structured, modular architecture while ensuring backward compatibility and performance stability.
• Work with RESTful APIs (JSON) and modern communication frameworks such as Ktor and Coroutines to ensure smooth client–server interaction.
• Participate actively in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making to maintain high-quality standards.
• Ensure reliable communication and coordination through regular meetings and asynchronous channels.
• Optionally, take a leading role in guiding a small development team, mentoring junior developers, and managing technical project deliverables.

Your profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in native Android development with deep expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK, and related tools (IDE, frameworks, paradigms).
• Proven experience with Jetpack Compose, Ktor + Coroutines, and JSON-based REST APIs.
• Strong practical experience in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) development or strong motivation to specialize in this area.
• Demonstrated ability to think independently, plan technical solutions, and align implementation with broader architectural goals.
• Excellent communication skills in English - both written and verbal - to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
• A team-oriented mindset, open to feedback, and committed to a constructive, respectful exchange of ideas.
• High sense of accountability with a proactive approach to timelines, estimates, and ownership of deliverables.
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex) is a strong plus.
• Leadership potential - ability to coordinate tasks, mentor peers, and drive small-scale technical initiatives when required.
