Location: Munich / Sofia

We are looking for a Back-End Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.

Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well.

Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet our company’s needs.

Good J2EE skills - Spring, MVC, JSF, JSP

Good eCommerce process / product catalogue and industry understanding

Proven knowledge in the related Web2.0 technologies and trends, such as AJAX, Webservices, HTML, CSS and Javascript.

Proven experience in effective trouble shooting of J2EE applications

Analytical mindset and innovative thinker

Strong customer and service orientation and “getting things done” mindset

Understanding of structured problem solving methodologies

High degree of self management and drive

Motivated for new knowledge and development (Hybris knowledge is a plus)

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus)
