As a control technician in aluminum die casting and plastic injection facilities, you will work with controls engineers and technicians on maintaining, commissioning and further developing optimum processes and workflows. You are therefore a decisive factor for the flawless process flow of the highly automated systems.
What You'll Do

You will work on finding root cause of automation problems, programming Siemens PLCs in TIA Portal with ladder, STL or FBD languages.

Troubleshooting of automation problems in PLC, robots (Fanuc,Kuka) and SCADA system.

Working on new projects, integrating new equipment on production lines from cabling to software integration.

You order spare parts, consumables and equipment from catalogs, suppliers or obtain them from warehouses
What You'll Bring

You bring a vocational training in the field of control engineering or comparable qualification, preferably from the automotive industry with experience in die or injection molding

You are able to read and interpret electrical, mechanical drawings; accurately use measurement devices

You have the ability to analyze problems and error conditions, identify root causes, implement visible long-term solutions

You have good electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge

You have advanced computer skills

You bring a hands-on mentality, as well as a willingness to work shifts in a 3-shift system

You have a good command of German and English

You have good reporting skills
