Hamburg-based asset manager for clean energy infrastructure is looking for a Finance Analyst / Associate (m/f/x) (full-time or part-time).

Your responsibilities

As Finance Analyst / Associate (m/f/x) (full-time or part-time), your tasks will focus on the following areas:

• Perform financial monitoring including annual budgeting, liquidity forecasting and target vs. actual comparisons
• Review and support preparation of monthly management accounts and annual accounts as well as preparation of reporting documents for internal and external purposes, incl. bank reporting
• Manage financial tools and processes for cash-flow management during construction of energy transition assets
• Proactive liquidity planning including management of debt utilization and equity drawdown processes
• Manage interfaces between (short-term) budgets, (long-term) financial models and accounting applied
• Analyze investment performance, identify improvement potential for investments and report to management
• Assist with annual account audits or company tax audits
• Support in debt financing transactions, work on financing documents

As Finance Analyst/Associate you will be responsible for financial and performance monitoring of investments in the portfolio, including liquidity forecasting, bank reporting, management accounting and commercial performance analysis and discussion. You will work closely with the internal accounting-, project- and investment team and with external advisors and financing partners.

Your profile

• Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance with a strong academic background
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Audit, Treasury, M&A or Asset Management
• Strong excel and evaluation skill set is critical, experience with Power BI and AI are beneficial
• Strong quantitative capabilities and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and quantitatively oriented
• Excellent teamwork
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken) is required; additional language skills are a plus
• Experience in renewables is beneficial
