About this position

A Simulation FEM engineer supports other mechanical teams regarding strength simulations for example. You will have the chance the cross-function between different teams and therefore have a variety of tasks and new challenges. While also using your theoretical knowledge in optimizing mechanical components, you will get hands on experience in the manufacturing process and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Requirements for position

• Enrolled in bachelor studies in mechanical engineering
• Skills in strength simulation FEM tools (e.g., Hypermesh, Ansys)
• Knowledge about strength and fatigue in materials
• high reliability and availability
• good communication skills
• Teamwork skills
• high self-initiative
• living in Aachen
• good knowledge of English and German
• required work load: ~8 h/week

• Support other mechanical teams for strength simulations
• Topology optimization of mechanical components
• Helping in manufacturing
• Cross-functioning between different mechanical teams
