Introduction
As a Junior Product Development Engineer, you will support product engineering activities under guidance from senior engineers. You will contribute to the development and release of semiconductor products from concept through production. This includes supporting design and process reviews and helping ensure products meet defined quality and performance requirements. You will gain exposure to product lifecycle stages including prototyping, qualification, and sustaining. The role involves close collaboration with teams such as design, NPI, test, and quality/reliability.
Your Job
Support the collection, validation, and analysis of product, yield, and reliability data
Assist in developing reports and dashboards to track product performance metrics
Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, deviations, and potential risks, including parametric correlations and multidimensional outlier screening
Support root cause analysis by providing data insights and structured analysis
Contribute to monitoring product quality and highlighting deviations from targets
Assist in analyzing data from IC design, wafer sort, packaging, and final test
Support change management activities by validating data before and after implementation
Work with cross-functional teams to provide data inputs for decision-making
Help maintain data quality, consistency, and documentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, STEM or related field
Basic understanding of semiconductor processes (design, fabrication, packaging, or test)
Familiarity with engineering fundamentals and data analysis concepts
Strong problem-solving skills with structured thinking
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills across multiple engineering disciplines
Proficiency in programming languages: Skills in Python ML, PySpark, SQL or equivalent
We require English language proficiency (at least C1).
Preferred Qualifications
First experience in semiconductor or related engineering environment e.g. as working student or internships is preferred
