Event Recap: GenAI – Unlocking new realities and challenges! We extend our gratitude to everyone who joined us on June 26th at our Zurich office for an engaging deep dive into Generative AI within the financial services industry. Here are some key takeaways and highlights from the event: Key Insights: - Differentiating Use Cases: It’s crucial to distinguish between individual and organizational GenAI use cases to ensure tailored and effective implementation. - Registering Low-Risk Use Cases: Even low-risk GenAI applications should be documented to justify their risk level and facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization. - Machine-Readable Documents & Data Management: Emphasis on the importance of machine-readable documents and the need to uncover and manage data graveyards to enhance data quality and readiness for AI. Live Demonstrations: - Capco’s AI Accelerator (C.AI): Showcased live, this tool streamlines the prototyping process, accelerating AI-driven solutions. - BSA Genie: A GenAI application on Microsoft Azure that transforms interviews into epics, features, user stories, and ultimately code, simplifying the development of new applications. We were honored to hear from industry leaders such as @Aniello Bove, @Sasha Dolgy, @Vladimir Ignjatovic, Marco Billeter, Patrick Scheidegger, and Simon Gomez, who shared their invaluable insights on GenAI governance, data quality, and innovative use cases. A big thank you to all our speakers and attendees
This is another transformative year for our industry. Financial services and energy expertise, #innovation, and speed of execution are valued as never before, alongside the ability to leverage new technologies, including #GenAI, a laser focus on #risk and resilience will be key to success. Leaders recognize the benefits of strong governance as they strive to balance #innovation and control. The 59th edition of the Capco Journal, Balancing Innovation and Control, examines governance in technology, with a particular focus on #data, #AI, and #sustainability, as well as wider corporate governance considerations. Contributors include leading academics, senior financial services and energy executives, and Capco’s own subject matter experts. We hope these insights will prove valuable for your institution’s own approach to their governance strategy - balancing innovation and control. #financialservices #digitaltransformation #riskmanagement #innovationandcontrol

Over the past few days, our colleagues have had the opportunity to admire artwork installed in our Bratislava office. Our Hashtag #CSR team had sought out artistic talent at Capco Bratislava and created an exhibition of art by 9 colleagues, with some items offered for sale at an internal auction. With a curatorial introduction by a local artist Katarina Kvietikova-Bekeniova and a talk on art therapy from Katarina Vargova, the event was a great success. Capco Art Gallery would not be possible without the ideas, artistic mastery and leadership of Matej Letko, the artists Zuzana Dimov, Elena Dzurjovcinova, Jana Jencova, Michaela Kajuchova, Zuzana Masarykova, Zuzana Riedlova, Tomas Vanco, Dominika Zajacova, and last but not least Matej Šimjak, who created an eye-catching catalogue of the artwork. At least one artwork was sold by every Capco artist, with a total of 26 pieces auctioned, raising funds for the non-profit organisation which supports artists and creators with disabilities.
