Pre-screening round followed by interview with Regional HR head. Interview is based on Amazon principles and Situation, Action, Result approach. Previous work experience at manufacturing site helps.
Interview usually lasts for 45 mins to 1 hour.

Describe one situation you took a big initiative and was a hit in your career.
Typically starts with a recruiter phone screen, followed by an online assessment for technical roles. Interviewers evaluate both job skills and how well you demonstrate Amazon’s Leadership Principles through behavioral questions. One interviewer is often a “Bar Raiser,” whose role is to maintain hiring standards and probe deeply into your experience, decision-making, and impact.

Very structured, using the leadership principles. It felt a little mechanical but very thorough. Limited interest in WHY I was interviewing. Great advice from recruiter in the process leading up to the loop.
