About this position

In the position of a PCB designer, you will assist in designing and developing PCB layouts for our products, including schematics, footprints and routing. You will learn to conduct design- and electrical rule checks, to ensure the practicability of the PCB design and help your senior and lead. While collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the requirements for performance, reliability and manufacturability, you will participate in building a more sustainable future.

Requirements for position

• Enrolled in electrical engineering/IT/Mechatronics bachelor or master
• Knowledge of basic electrical engineering
• Mathematical background with signal processing such as Fourier and Laplace transformations
• Teamwork skills
• living in Aachen
• required work load: ~8 h/week

What will be your tasks

• Develop and maintain documentation for PCB layout design, including the bill of material, assembly drawings and fabrication drawings
• Evaluate new tools and techniques for improving our development process
• Conducting design and electrical rule checks to ensure the PCB standards for reliability and manufacturing
• Design and develop PCB layouts for our products
