- Build, customize and extend dashboards, visualizations and plugins for Apache Superset and adjacent BI tools
- Write and tune complex SQL queries, materialized views and performance-critical analytical workloads
- Develop Python backend services that complement Superset – custom APIs, authentication, data-quality checks and ETL hooks
- Optionally contribute to Superset's React/TypeScript frontend to ship custom visualizations and UX improvements
- Work closely with our developer team and the customer's analytics stakeholders to turn business questions into reliable, performant data products
Your Profile

- Practical experience with Apache Superset (configuration, customization, plugin development) or comparable BI tools (e.g. Metabase, Looker, Tableau)
- Solid Python backend development skills (Flask / FastAPI, SQLAlchemy)
- Nice to have: experience with Superset's React + TypeScript frontend, dbt, Airflow, Docker / Kubernetes
- Fluent English, written and spoken; German is a plus
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote-first setup
