#InfosysFoundation had the privilege of welcoming the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi to the Infosys Foundation – Konappana Agrahara Metro Station, a key part of Bengaluru’s newly inaugurated Yellow Line. The Prime Minister alighted here before proceeding to address a gathering at IIIT-B, where he acknowledged Infosys Foundation’s role in funding key metro stations through the innovative use of CSR. He lauded this approach as a source of inspiration and a driver of positive change in India’s urban landscape. Spanning over 227,000 sq. ft., the station combines solar power generation, rainwater harvesting and advanced water recycling into a sustainable design - making daily journeys smoother, greener and more comfortable for thousands of commuters. With every train that arrives here, Infosys Foundation is proud to play a part in easing Bengaluru’s commute and supporting the city’s long-term growth.
