Hakan got to know Capgemini Engineering through our recruiting event, the "Talent Day", where he was enthusiastic about our corporate culture and the exciting topics. As a passionate automotive enthusiast, he wanted to become part of the industry and provide new impulses. He was particularly impressed by our openness to being able to take on important tasks independently! "My start was uncomplicated and friendly. As Function Owner Support, I support my colleagues in the development of new functions in the area of public charging. What do I like most about my work? The certainty of being able to help shape the future in a sustainable and innovative way. I appreciate the trust that was placed in me right from the start and look forward to many new and exciting projects!"
Our E-Mobility Talent Day - a day full of exciting insights and new perspectives!💡 As part of our event, over 21 students had the exclusive opportunity to get a taste of our innovative projects.🙌 We have focussed on three topics: 💻Software development: In this workshop, the participants were able to go through a development process using a practical example from the thermal management of the high-voltage storage system. 🔌Hardware development: Here, our visitors had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the work of a hardware developer at various stations and, among other things, to analyse a real error from the field of sensor technology. 🏎️Testing: In addition to theoretical insights, the students had the opportunity to analyze and rectify a real fault in the field of high-voltage batteries on a development vehicle with the help of state-of-the-art measurement technology. Of course, fun and team spirit weren't neglected either: we played a game of Jenga to get to know each other and then had the opportunity to meet our experts over food and drinks!👏
Achieving top performance together - our Kick-Off 2024 was an absolute success 🚀 We can look back on a fantastic event: interesting insights into our strategy, a valuable exchange on our innovative projects and a unique team spirit made the event something very special. 😍 On site in Wolfsburg, our speakers spoke to an audience about our visions, ideas and innovations - the event was broadcast live to over 13 locations. 🌐 We are already looking forward to the year!
Diverse teams are better performing teams - this is a well-known fact these days. Thus, diversity is a high priority for us at Capgemini Engineering and a core element of our corporate culture. In Germany, only 25% of engineering students are currently female. And only 10% of these women decide for a career in classic disciplines like Electric/Electronic engineering. That is something we want to change! Therefore we founded our own internal "Women in Engineering" network this year and were a proud sponsor of the Women Automotive Network. We believe, that exactly these kind of networks motivate and support girls to pursue a career in technology. The strong and successful women we have in our team are the inspiring role models to show prospective female engineers how interesting and creative the job is. We are fully committed and motivated to further drive this important topic and looking forward to the next steps of our internal “Women in Engineering” Network.
