Since office has opened from 1 year earlier it was WFH so everything employee can manage by own now when it comes on their end it's full with poor work culture and infrastructure. ​Toxic Management: The company is run by two people based on personal whims. There is no transparency, and they often give false promises to employees. ​Bad Policy Mix: They don't follow good MNC standards or good client policies. Instead, they pick the worst rules from both sides to pressure the staff. ​Poor Infrastructure: They think giving two monitors is "great infrastructure," but they offer no WFH for 80% employees and only 23 leaves. ​Extreme Work Hours: Employees are treated like laborers and forced to work 14–15 hours a day due to unexpected client demands. ​Predatory Hiring & Threats: They specifically look for people who were recently fired from other companies. They use this to create job insecurity, threatening that the project will close if you don't work extreme hours. ​Divide and Rule: Senior leaders spread rumors and false statements about employees to create conflict and control the team. ​HR & Communication: HR engagement is very poor. There is no honest communication about what is happening in the company.

Pros

Hiring is well-gated, so you'll work with smart people. Projects are exclusively in finance so it's a great place to gain exposure in that industry. You operate with a good amount of autonomy.

Kontras

It's a consulting company, so engineers are only valuable if they're billable. That means your success is tied to someone else's ability to secure a pipeline of work for you, or your own ability to upsell at your engagement - which may or may not be up to you no matter what you do. There isn't a dedicated sales team at Lab, so this can get spotty. Upper management's presence is felt in seasons - non-existant for months at a time, all over everything the next. They were nowhere to be found as AI got rolled out massively in 2026 and we got caught without a strategy and action plan - either for leveraging internally or for pivoting our model.
