This company takes care of you with benefits and salary. Generous vacation package to start with a requirement that you use your vacation each year (that can be looked at as a positive or negative depending on your views).
Kontras
Harris owns a lot of 'business units' - child companies. So depending on which one you work at, the experience will vary by quite a bit I'm sure.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You are correct Harris has many cultures within cultures. We strive to ensure all our business units live by our values and provide framework and support but autonomy has always been part of what makes us unique.
It (mostly) pays the bills. Your day to day experience will depend entirely on the business unit you are in and your localized management.

Compensation is low. Their business model is just continuously acquiring established software companies, gutting them, and rebuilding them according to their model. Standard corporate experience. They will pay you as little as possible to retain you, and do things like changing the structure of HSA contributions to save a buck.
