Pros

Competitive salary and decent benefits. Smart colleagues and some interesting technical challenges. Central office location with good infrastructure.

Kontras

Extremely high pressure with unrealistic expectations placed on engineers. Frequent and poorly managed performance reviews , often leading to confusion and stress rather than growth. Lack of clear guidance from Engineering Managers; feedback is often vague or contradictory. Culture of fear around performance – PIPs are common and many engineers are either forced out or leave due to burnout. Performance review process feels rigged: no transparency, and those who "game the system" are favored over actual contributors. Poor user of engineering talent — often mismanaged and undervalued. Leadership seems more focused on constant churn rather than supporting long-term team stability. In just a few months, I saw multiple engineers and even managers let go under unclear circumstances. No clear career path or expectations. Managers seem either powerless or complicit in a top-down culture of constant pressure and disposability.
