An ex-colleague of mine referred me for this role, and even though it took a few weeks between application and hearing from the recruiter the initial call with her was very positive. After that I had a call with the hiring manager, even though it was brief with 30 mins, it was insightful. Then a few more interviews had to be scheduled and the first cracks appeared in the process, as the system where I had to mark availability wasn't working and I was in contact with 2 coordinators but somehow the recruiter reached out to say they hadn't heard from me. Finally, interviews got scheduled. 2 of them were with multiple people, of which in one interview it was apparent they didn't really have a strategy how to handle a 3-way conversation, plus the questions were very generic and when I asked for clarification it didn't really improve. After the 3rd interview, I got a (what looked like) canned response email from the recruiter within 4 minutes to let me know that they offered the role to someone else and that I could request feedback. I did the latter, but never heard from them again.
