This week, we're reminiscing on our 2026 Executive Director Leadership Conference! Earlier this month, we had the opportunity to bring our Executive Directors together alongside our Regional and Support teams for our annual Executive Director Leadership Conference in Oceanside, California! It was an incredible week focused on connection, learning, and celebrating the culture that defines who we are. We heard from our President, Laura Fischer, as well as key leaders from Discovery Senior Living, including CEO Richard Hutchinson, COO Bill Sciortino, SVP of HR Lisa Lacy, SVP of Strategic Marketing Heidi M. LaVanway, and so many more! Together, they all provided our teams with valuable insights into new initiatives, best practices, and our vision for 2026, all grounded in this year’s theme: Ignite! 🔥 More than anything, this time together reinforced our shared commitment to the people at the heart of everything we do for our residents. By investing in and recognizing the leaders who guide our communities each day, we continue to strengthen the foundation that ensures our residents experience not just care, but truly exceptional places to call home.

We’re thrilled to celebrate our very own Brandy McCauley, Executive Director of The Palms at Bonaventure, who has been honored by the California Assisted Living Association with the Excellence in Service Award! After joining The Palms in 2009 as a Charge Nurse, Brandy's compassion and leadership quickly propelled her into key roles - including Memory Care Coordinator and, since 2014, Executive Director. Under her leadership, The Palms has flourished as a community built on warmth, respect, and exceptional care. Her dedication to residents, families, and team members embodies the heart of assisted living. Congratulations, Brandy, on this well-deserved recognition! 💚
From pillow fights to moo-moo fashion shows, it's Sleepover Culture Week at Integral Senior Living! 🌙😴💤 Our residents and team members are grabbing their favorite jammies, fuzzy socks, and eye masks to kick off a fun culture week! Themed after one of their favorite childhood memories, residents had a blast from the past getting their nails painted, enjoying classic sleepover treats, and even enjoying mimosas in their moo-moos!
