Last week, 300+ #harristeeter associates, including store managers, directors and leaders from our Store Support Center, rolled up their sleeves for a special mission. Our VolunTeeters packed 13,500 backpacks filled with grocery items as part of our annual company meeting. These backpacks are heading straight to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina Backpack Program, ensuring kids have access to nutritious, ready to eat food during weekends and holidays when school meals are unavailable. The backpacks will be used in just a few weeks as schools head into spring break. Harris Teeter is proud to partner with SHFBM and give back to our communities!
