Large company sometimes lacks the personal touch. There is a focus on checking off items on a worklist, not on doing the job well. The 2 year job rotations does not hold engineers accountable if their solution fails drastically 5 years later. Pattern of promoting 2-4 year engineers into management roles, creates leaders who sometimes lack the technical chops needed for their role.
