All about how much your supervisor likes you, if you get stuck with a weak one who will not fight for you your ranking will not go well no matter your performance. Evaluations and raises are very secretive, not really sure why things go the way they do and its all about who you know in the company that gets you ahead. Horrible retention rate at this company of young engineers.
