Pros

Good pay , and the 5 cycle shift pattern is the best you can hope for in the industry if working night shifts and lots of time off. Decent direct supervisors whom are handling the same issues from above as you are so they understand you.

Kontras

The upper and middle management have no idea what they are doing. This site is living Hand to mouth - quarter to quarter which creates a terrible management strategy that barely sees more than 3 months ahead. Not forgetting the tragic events of June 2024 (google it), the low morale has recently come to a head with the rolling mass firing of staff, I predict a mass exit from the site (likely part of their strategy to cut cost by making the job soo insufferable that they leave voluntarily).

The benefits package is strong and competitive, which adds a lot of overall value. There are many internal departments and career paths, making it relatively easy to explore new roles and grow within the company. On-site cafeteria is a convenient and appreciated perk. Many colleagues are highly experienced and have been with the company and industry for years, making them great resources for learning and mentorship.

Promotion policies can be limiting—there seems to be an informal rule that prevents employees from being promoted more than once in a year, even for high performers. Salary could be more competitive compared to market rates. Equipment and internal systems feel outdated and could benefit from modernization to improve efficiency.
