Pros

Good benefits, still good and generally knowledgeable people at the working level with potentially fulfilling technical challenges. Potential to become again the world leader in the helicopter business.

What you write in your PMP in terms of career objectives you will most likely never get, growing moving of knowledge base to India (200 engineers there), more and more non aviation culture management focused on short term shareholders benefits alone and not also their social responsibility to the countries and people that made them what they are today, more and more non-value added administrative activities driving costs higher which costs are offset by laying off value adding workers, antiquated military customer tailored organization that is still unfit to respond to a relatively growing, different and demanding modern commercial market.

Thank you for your comments. Our talent strategy is to promote our internal talent and create new opportunities for the outstanding talent we already have. While these next few years will be challenging, we have a tremendous opportunity in front of us to bring three major development programs to market – something that is unheard of in our industry, yet together we are doing it. We are executing to our schedules and are making tremendous progress on each of these programs.

9/80 schedule, every other Friday off. 401k match is decent but long vesting period. A lot of ERGs and events for people.

Kontras

Employee morale is not what it used to be. Cafeteria is not great, food and the prices. Career development is slow, unless you get lucky.
