Great company. Although laid off, we did get a severance package. Good PTO and flexibility.
Kontras
I would suggest seeing if other positions within the company would be a good fit before laying off your good employees with no other options to keep them with the company.
We get paid per mileage on top of our hourly pay but due to rising gas prices what they pay us per mileage isn’t enough anymore. The company isn’t doing anything to offset the rising gas prices. I’m struggling to have enough money to feed myself. All my extra money goes in my gas tank. I’ve had to wait till payday to cover the part of my territory that is an hour and more away from me. Also I’ve had medical issues and the company promotes themselves as giving their employees a flexible schedule and a healthy work/life balance but I’m not getting that kind of support from my supervisor. There has been a few times due to medical issues where I didn’t clock in till 10-11 am. It didn’t keep me from doing my job or from covering my territory. I’m a hard worker and I never miss a store visit but because of those few late times now my supervisor wants me to check in with her every work day like I’m a five year old and be clocked in by 8 am. I’m being treated unfairly and poorly.
