Job Summary:
The Personal Loans Consultant based in UMLAZI is a performance-driven field sales specialist focused on accelerating the acquisition of high-value personal loan products. Operating within specific geographic micro-
markets, the primary objective of this role is to identify and engage consumers requiring substantial financial solutions. The consultant proactively activates strategic high-potential nodes, qualifying prospective applicants and seamlessly guiding them through digital application platforms while strictly adhering to compliance, risk mitigation, and premium customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Sales Generation & Execution
? Proactively approach consumers at designated activation points (such as vehicle dealerships,
furniture stores, DIY nodes, and corporate corporate activation environments) to generate
leads.
? Target clients seeking personal loans for high-propensity events, specifically vehicle repairs,
educational expenses, or personal emergencies.
? Actively pitch personal loan solutions

Application Support & Lead Capture
? Conduct initial client needs analyses to match specific personal loan features to the
consumer’s financial situation.
? Utilize mobile banking platforms for seamless digital lead capture and client application
tracking.
? Guide consumers through initial document collation and application processing to ensure
efficient, accurate turnaround times.
Compliance & Risk Management
? Maintain an expert, honest understanding of credit solutions and responsibly explain basic
lending criteria and terms to consumers.
? Align field activities with strict internal fraud-prevention frameworks and site rules.
Operational Delivery
? Collaborate closely with the assigned micro-market manager and Smollan Team Leader to
execute data-driven activation strategies.

Minimum Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
Minimum Experience: 1 - 2 Years’ Previous experience in retail sales, field
marketing, or Promotions (experience within financial
services, banking, or loan environments is an advantage)
