I was originally introduced by a recruiter and then had an initial phone screen with the head of HR in New York to discuss the basics of the company, the role, and my professional aspirations. She really emphasized cultural fit. Strangely, it felt like I was the one being proactive - reaching out, setting meetings/calls, etc.
I was then called in for an in-person interview in the New York office in Chelsea where I met with the head of Professional Services. I did my homework on the company and their products, but this interview was for a completely different part of the business, which wouldn't be clear to someone that doesn't work there. Overall good experience, just not what I was looking for and I wasn't what they were looking for
