The recruiter contacted me the day after I applied online. The screening was conducted through a Teams meeting. Unfortunately, the recruiter did not seem prepared. He appeared unfamiliar with my resume and came across as disorganized.
I don’t think he gave a fair assessment of my skills. He seemed more concerned with my most recent experience rather than my overall background, even though I do have customer service experience. Additionally, he appeared to ignore the company’s advertised pay range of $17.16–$30.72, stating that I would not be considered for the $25/hour rate I listed in my application. I have experience.
If the rate was an issue, I don’t understand why he reached out to me. He mentioned that the maximum they would offer for the position was $22/hour. I never got contacted again.
