I waited a few days to get heard from them and I was selected to be interviewed for the security guard position. I was told about the wage and asked various questions such as why didn't you go to school in 5 years. I was told that I would be working somewhere at $12 dollars per hour but when he mentioned about working on holidays, my belief was I would be paid 2.5x the wage and I was wrong, it was 1.5x the basic wage and when I told the manager that, he gets obnoxious with me and I left.

I applied on line. HR contacted me next day. After answering some questions I was invited for an interview. I liked the fact that I was given options in term of dates and times. At the interview I was questioned on my previous experience and future goals. I was given information on the company and my future with LK if I would be selected. HR manager answered my questions and concerns. I was told that I will be informed about results in few days. Which they did. I was contacted and informed that I have passed and was invited to come in to review job offer and schedule a training.

Received an interview email invitation from LK Protection. Went to the interview, there were is no reception or management, just the guards and owners running the place. The job posting I had applied on kijiji was for a $15-$17 mobile security position, with benefits and paid uniforms. The interviewer was extremely rude, asked a few questions, then offered a $12 bucks position downtown and was asked to come in for few days of training and buy the uniform for $200. What a scam. I have documented proof, there was another person being interviewed after me, who was let off after 2 minutes only. He was even more disappointed and angry. This company is most likely a uniform selling business scam.
