The HR initially explained that the process would have four rounds: HR screening, Technical Round, Technomanagerial Round, and a final HR discussion. After the HR screen, my résumé was shortlisted and my first technical round was scheduled. Although the round was allotted for 45 minutes, it continued for about 1 hour and 5 minutes, during which I answered around 90% of questions on Python, SQL, AWS Lambda, Flask, and my projects. Twenty minutes later, HR informed me that I had cleared the round with fully positive feedback and they scheduled the next round. The second round also lasted for 45 minutes, and I confidently answered all technical questions; however, at the end, the interviewer asked one analytic question unrelated to the technologies, and though I gave an approach, he did not seem satisfied. Twenty minutes after the interview, HR informed me that the round was not positive, but they were unable to explain the exact reason. Eventually, despite performing well overall, my application was rejected apparently based on that single analytic question.
