The interview was pretty straightforward. The HR contacted me and I had to reschedule the call due to some internal reasons. The interview consists of a 20-minute call with the CTO, Mr. Harishankaran K. I expected it to be intimidating but it was unique and interesting. He had his poker face up the entire round. At the end of twenty minutes, he said a monotonous answer that the team would get back to me with the results. On the same night, I got a call from HR asking me to schedule another date for the second round. It was with one of their EM. The second round also went for twenty minutes and it was more fun than technical. We talked in general about the products we like and my projects.

I recently had a great, project-focused interview experience with HackerRank! My first technical round was with the CTO & Co-founder, followed by a second with the Director of Engineering. The entire conversation revolved around my Projects, giving me the opportunity to discuss them in depth for the first time in an interview setting. They were genuinely interested in my work. A key takeaway is that HackerRank highly values extra-curricular technical activities, hackathon participation, and open-source contributions. Although I didn't make the final cut, it was an incredibly valuable experience overall!
