I waited a while to write this review because the interview process with Curology was easily the most painful I have yet to experience. The entire interview process took two months. It ended up being a ton of work on my part and a complete waste of time, since I had to spend lots of time on calls with them, preparing for the presentation, on-site, etc.
The process was as follows: initial call with department head, then recruiter call, then an invitation to do a case study, then another recruiter call, then invitation to do an on-site presentation of the case study. I was told that there was supposed to be a final on-site interview after the presentation, but luckily they agreed to consolidate this into one visit after I asked.
I had read the reviews about them having folks do case studies and ghosting them, but I thought I would "give it a try" anyway. I went through all the rounds well, and was getting great feedback from the team that they loved me, especially after the final on-site. After the on-site I got a call from the head recruiter going over the salary and benefits with me. The deal was 95% done. I was told I should be receiving the final news in a day or so after that. No word. I reached out to the recruiter and was told they were so sorry they decided to go with someone else who had "industry experience" after I had been told none was needed for the position, and that they'd "reach out to me later" if they had something else.
The whole experience was akin to being left at the employment altar and was really difficult personally as well. The company actually seems great to work for, but the whole ordeal was incredibly unprofessional and just ridiculous. I hope they can improve.
