Veeamer Marek Vesa is an avid runner and always looking for ways to put his abilities toward a good cause. Recently, Marek participated in the Autism24 #ultramarathon and broke his own 2020 record by running 105 km in 24 hours! But Marek isn’t in it for the records – he’s doing this to help collect as many donations as possible to support 14 national level projects that help children with #autism It’s the perfect example of our Veeam Cares culture: using what we have to give back to society!
Over the past two weeks our ANZ Veeamers used their Veeam Cares hours to Clean Up Australia! Veeamers took part in an education session that addressed key sustainability issues, including pandemic related changes in behavior and business-related actions needed to make a difference. Teams all over Australia then set off to clean areas in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney - giving back to the Environment in a Veeamazing way!
