Today is #InternationalDayOfPersonsWithDisabilities and we kicked off our week with a virtual roundtable focusing on exactly that: Disability Inclusion hosted by our CEO Sanjay Brahmawar. We truly believe in a #PeopleFirstCulture and I feel proud that Software AG is continuously working on building a truly diverse and inclusive organization where everyone is encouraged and enabled to contribute their own unique strengths and capabilities. Three things are important to make hybrid working successful: - Good IT equipment for the employees with a clear knowledge management - a culture of collaboration and trust - an office that fulfills the requirement of the future i.e a meeting space that allows everyone to get together to be creative and productive at the same time. Let's focuse for now on the last point - the office space. We had a grand opening of Software AG’s #JoinU9 #HybridWorking initiative in Darmstadt. The colorful and activity-based spaces with lounge chairs, beanballs, conference rooms and private phone booths invites every employee to be #innovative, #creative and most importantly reinforces the importance of #collaboration. From Master Student to Master Employee! Enio begann seine Karriere 2015 als Werkstudent für technische Dokumentation bei der Cumulocity GmbH, einer Tochtergesellschaft der Software AG. Später wechselte er in die Softwareentwicklung, in die Abteilung "IoT R&D - Core Frontend". Für sein Bachelorstudium der Informatik und Kommunikationstechnik an der Universität Duisburg-Essen verließ Enio sein Heimatland Bulgarien. Mittlerweile studiert er „Computer Engineering, Vertiefung Intelligent Networked Systems“ ebenfalls an der Universität Duisburg-Essen und wird sein Masterstudium bald abschließen. Am 1. Juli 2021 wurde Enio in eine Festanstellung übernommen und arbeitet seitdem als Softwareentwickler bei Cumulocity IoT R&D - Core Frontend Team. In seiner Freizeit geht Enio gerne seiner Leidenschaft für Fußball und Kickboxen nach. Großartig, Dich im Team zu haben.

Let us tell you about our student Julius and his various tasks that fill his day: In 2018 he joined us just after ending high school to start his “Business Management” corporate studies - in Germany we call it “Duales Studium”. This is a great opportunity to combe classroom-based education with practical work experience. At the beginning Julius supported our Event-Marketing colleagues in planning our global Sales Kick Off. It is well-known that planning an international event needs organizational talent and a lot of flexibility especially when considering any last-minute needs. But not a problem at all for Julius: “It was great to be an active part of event-organization and to build up a strong network with colleagues all over the world”. In July 2019 he joined Human Resources, where he is working on his first project-thesis! In cooperation with our payroll-expert Tina he will dive deep into the “Benefits and longterm-accounts”.
