Proximo Group has chosen Pancreatic Cancer Action as our Charity of the Year for 2026 in memory of our much-loved colleague, Janet Alcock, who sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer last year after 25 years with the business. Janet was a hugely respected member of our team, and this partnership reflects our commitment to supporting the charity’s important work to improve awareness, encourage earlier diagnosis and help save lives. Recently, Tony Lewis took on the challenge of running a full marathon in support of Pancreatic Cancer Action, completing the 26.2 miles in an impressive 5 hours and 25 minutes. This is a fantastic achievement that we are incredibly proud to recognise.

Last week, some of our incredible team members volunteered at Chester Zoo! 🦁🐘 As proud corporate sponsors, we believe in giving back to our community and supporting wildlife conservation efforts. Our people took the day to assist with preparing Willow to feed to the animals during the colder months, they also got to spend the afternoon seeing the amazing animals across the Zoo. This opportunity not only strengthens our bond with the Zoo but also enriches our team's experience and fosters a deeper connection with nature.
