It’s that time again: for the fourth year in a row, our employees in Bad Homburg donated presents to local charities for about 400 children in need, as part of the company’s Give Joy campaign. 🎄🎁 Each child wished for a particular present, which an employee then purchased and lovingly wrapped. What a great way to start off the holiday season! Thank you to everyone who made it possible! 💙
Fresenius Medical Care is launching a new dialyzer for hemodialysis, the FX CorAL®. Focal points of the new dialyzer’s development were clinical performance and hemocompatibility. The core of the new FX CorAL is its new Helixone® hydro membrane, which forms a special gel-like layer of water on the surface of the inner membrane that reduces protein adsorption while the blood is being cleaned. This is to achieve a lower induction of the immune response in the patient while maintaining high selective permeability for the removal of toxins and excess water.
Company run for a good cause: This month, we are inviting all our Fresenius colleagues around the globe to join the Fresenius Team Run! 🏃 Together we can do something positive for our health and at the same time raise money for non-profit organizations and charities. To be part of the Fresenius Team Run doesn’t require counting steps or keeping track of distances: Our Fresenius colleagues just need ot take a selfie of themselves during their run 🤳 and then upload it to our intranet. 📲 For each photo submitted, Fresenius will donate money to a good cause. And even better: Employees who participate can nominate a non-profit organization or charity to receive a donation, and vote for their favorite.
