ENTRUST Solutions Group has announced its newly formed sector, EN Renewables. The new sector, the company’s seventh, joins EN Engineering, EN Automation, EN Communications, EN Consulting, EN Data Solutions, and EN Field Services. EN Renewables will focus on serving both the renewable power and renewable gas markets. EN Renewables will expand upon the work ENTRUST already performs for investor-owned utilities, local distribution companies, midstream operators, developers, and technology partners. With collaboration from the other six sectors, EN Renewables will develop and implement renewable projects, provide reliable and cost-effective engineering and consulting solutions, and deliver high-quality results. Alongside the broader ENTRUST team, EN Renewables partners with clients to support their battery storage, hydrogen, RNG, wind, solar, EV infrastructure, and microgrid projects with several critical services. These services include feasibility studies, design, consulting, federal grant support, and project management to complete projects on time and within budget.
(New York, August 7, 2023) – Neuberger Berman, a private, independent, employee-owned investment manager, announced that Neuberger Berman Alternatives has agreed to acquire a significant minority stake in ENTRUST Solutions Group (“ENTRUST” or the “Company”). Neuberger Berman Alternatives will join existing investor Kohlberg & Company, a leading private equity firm based in Mount Kisco, NY, who will retain a majority stake in ENTRUST. The investment will be made by several client portfolios managed by NB Alternatives Advisers LLC (or one of its affiliates). Terms of the investment were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close later this month. Headquartered in Illinois, ENTRUST is a leading consulting and engineering services platform serving the utility and infrastructure end markets. Working from 36 locations across the country, ENTRUST’s over 3,000 professionals provide consulting, design, and engineering services to a broad base of customers, supporting the maintenance and upgrade of aging utility infrastructure across the United States.

Within this sector, ENTRUST will partner with clients such as investor-owned utilities (IOU’s), electric cooperatives, municipalities, tribal entities, and telecommunications providers. Combining the complementary skillsets within ENTRUST into EN Communications will enhance the overall value for ENTRUST’s clients. Acquired by ENTRUST in November, Magellan will continue to provide its complete portfolio of fiber and broadband services under EN Communications, focused on delivering comprehensive fiber broadband solutions to its clients.
