Travis has 27 years of experience leading hyperscale and mission-critical infrastructure, including classified and sovereign cloud regions. In his new role, he will support our industrial clients and position our team to advance CDM Smith’s portfolio in the data center sector.
The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) selected CDM Smith to manage the utility’s Lead Line Replacement Program. The program, estimated at $1 billion, is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2037 to meet EPA requirements for full lead service line (LSL) replacement under the Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI).

CDM Smith has named Samir Mathur, PE, BCEE as the new President of the Technical Services Unit. Mathur is an environmental engineer with 32 years of experience—all with CDM Smith—in analysis and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities. He most recently served as the global practice leader for water reclamation, creating a culture of mentorship and ingenuity for the practice. He has delivered the firm’s largest wastewater projects, bringing valuable perspectives about project delivery, team collaboration, and technical leadership to his new role.
Jennifer M. Hooper has joined CDM Smith as Industrial Unit President. Hooper has over 25 years of experience advancing sustainable solutions across the energy and industrial sectors. In her new role, she will run all aspects of the firm’s Industrial Unit operations, from resource management and technical solutioning to revenue and sales growth.
