From Toby Edwards, our Dallas-Fort Worth Outreach Executive: ✨ What an incredible evening at the United Rocks Masquerade Ball, celebrating Limitless Possibilities! I’m grateful to have shared it with some amazing colleagues from ACES and honored to support the inspiring vision of Mariana Steelsmith. Proud to be part of a community driven by connection, advocacy, and impact.
From Leslie Vega, one of our Talent Acquisition Team Leads: Today, my heart is so full. We celebrated my daughter’s ABA graduation at ACES (Comprehensive Educational Services) and it’s a moment I’ll never forget. When we first began this journey, I didn’t know what the road ahead would look like. There were days filled with worry, questions, and hoping I was doing enough for her. But today, we celebrated how far she’s come — the progress, the breakthroughs, and the strength she’s shown every single day. As a parent, this milestone is more than just “completing therapy.” It’s proof of her resilience, her hard work, and the incredible support from every therapist, teacher, and loved one who walked beside us. This journey has changed me, too. It’s taught me patience, perspective, and what it really means to celebrate the small victories — because they add up to something so much greater. I’m endlessly proud of her and so grateful for everyone who has helped us reach this day. 💙
Last month, our San Antonio ACES team had the incredible opportunity to partner with Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio to help build a home for a local family. We even had the chance to work alongside the future homeowners — a truly inspiring experience. It was an amazing day of giving back, teamwork, and strengthening our culture outside the office. 🩵

🎃 Halloween can be a magical time, but for parents of children with autism, it may come with unique challenges. It’s important to have a plan in place so your child can enjoy the fun, too! 👻 Here are 5 ACES tips to help make Halloween a positive experience: 1️⃣ Turn spooky into silly with Halloween stories and songs that engage and prepare your child. 2️⃣ Be proactive with school and community about food sensitivities and allergies. 3️⃣Create a game plan for trick-or-treating—consider pre-approved candies or swap treats for toys! 4️⃣ Prep for unfamiliar costumes and noises with practice and clear expectations. 5️⃣ Most importantly, go at your child’s pace, and don’t stress perfection—make it about fun! ✨ Ready to make Halloween easier?
