In my experience I had watched this industry move and shaker go from rising star to a falling star. Across the entire org, teams are hemorrhaging because of the attrition rate. Management is a joke and micromanagement is their only strategy. Leadership is a nice word, but doesn't really exist in practice here. Most managers plays favorites with their personal friends and the rest of the org has to work in silos. Morale is nonexistent except for those who are personal friends with their managers. Because of the unending waves of layoffs, I know many people in professional services are already looking for a new job. You will never be safe working at Zscaler. They will fire you without cause and then try to come up with excuses if they tell the rest of the team these layoffs even happened. Many times management doesn't even communicate layoffs. You just notice someone is gone when their name comes up as a deactivated account. Sad to watch what was once a great company crumble.
