Pros
It still is a great company with a good product and people, remember we compete with SFDC, Oracle and MSFT. The HR is amazing, they take care of folks (NA, UK) the company's leaders are starting to adapt and turn from just being appeasers. New set of leaders are bring in much needed zest and results and positivism. The culture is to give folks an opportunity, unfortunately I think these people are not competent, hiring has to be strict and non-performers need to be let go. There is a lot of opportunity for growth and it is given to hard working people with results. Some of the complaints are probably from long term employees who believe in entitlement. People generally complain but don't offer solutions and eGain has a few of them, then there are doers who are carrying some of this weight. I truly believe it will turn since some of the newer folks in management are at the front changing it and making a positive impact. Company has picnics, treats people fairly, people should not be stuck behind politics and the managers who have been with the company long who are intimidating. These people are weak, side step them and speak up.

There are still some dinosaurs that need to be extinct but still there, but these folks are outdated and they are in the background.
