Pros

Great combination of a fast-paced, innovative, startup culture with work-life balance. Everyone is very smart, hard-working, positive, and quick to help each other out. They're the type of people you're friends with outside of work too. The CEO is encouraging, quick to pitch in, and never asks anyone to do something she wouldn't. In addition, the strong values with which the company was founded permeate the culture--it's really cool to see everyone put the good of the recruited candidates ahead of profits in every single situation. Overall--great culture, great benefits, outstanding team, interesting work!

Kontras

For me this isn't a con, but as with most startups, the work day is a very fast pace with no breaks. If that's not your style, it probably isn't the right environment for you. Also, the work weeks are longer than 40 hours, but still really reasonable (especially for a startup), and evenings and weekends are protected.

Pros

They know what the want they are and what they're not. They are building a clear culture.

Kontras

It's small so there's less development.

Pros

One of the things I appreciated about Will Reed was how fast everything moved. If you presented a good idea as an employee, plans were immediately put into place to make it happen. That says another great thing about the leadership...they listen. You feel like you can approach them without fear that they will run over or dismiss your ideas. Everyone there is positive, have fun, and have PERSONALITY. You don't have to fear working with boring people. Also, it's not a clock-punching environment. The focus is more on productivity and results, wherever and however you get it done. But don't think that means you can just chill at a coffee shop surfing the web...you will feel the pressure to perform. The company is still small enough that you will be exposed if you aren't getting stuff done. Which is a very good thing I think. I was always pushed and felt accomplished--like I was earning my paycheck. It's a healthy environment.

Kontras

There are a couple of things that could be a con (depending on how you like to work) or a pro for certain people: -You should be prepared to travel (mainly to Austin) on occasion -As a start-up there aren't as many policies/procedures/systems as a typical company so prepare to just navigate some things on your own -You need to be flexible...the job title you were hired for may not always be that same job function going forward...as the company grows and develops, new needs means you may need to jump into a new area and learn fast
