Pros
Well-equipped gym, great coworkers, high-energy office. Everyone starts working here with very high hopes.
Kontras
-Horrible management issues. My team members are often spoken to like children, and benefits like a flexible schedule are given and taken away by managers as tools to punish employees. So if you need to drop your kids off at school in the morning, prepare to be punished for it as VARIDESK sees fit. -Your job is unlikely to be anything like what the team describes to you when you interview, and if you have any objections, prepare to be shown the door and told you're not a cultural fit, even if they recruited you. -HR does not advocate for employees or appropriately address employee concerns, and it's widely known that employees can't trust HR leadership. Valued team members have been quietly pushed out over petty arguments, and in general leadership has no consideration for the livelihood and time of the candidates they recruit. -Unskilled, ineffective management is a well-known issue at VARIDESK (see the other reviews), yet leaders are constantly congratulating themselves for their contributions. Varidesk's leaders are so busy calling themselves rockstars, they're often taken by surprise when their teams aren't performing, and when they discover any issues, the focus is always on who can be blamed. In sales, when leaders feel pressure, they start breathing down your neck, patrolling the floor to let the teams know they're watching. There's very little trust, and no professional autonomy.
