Pros

There are some smarter people here than the company deserves, with much more loyalty than the company shows them.

It was common knowledge in the company that the person in charge of my former department got the job through her inappropriate relationship with a member of upper management. The same member of upper management was known for making inappropriate comments to other women employees at company events. Of the various roles I've held, this one had the least value for my career growth.

We appreciate your feedback. Please know that we take accusations such as these very seriously. Our human resource team is always available if a coworker on any level has made you uncomfortable for any reason. We have not been made aware of any incidents at this time, and we highly encourage employees to come forward if they have something to report. The employee you’re referring to has been with Vacations To Go over 19 years and has been promoted through various departments by various members of management through the years. Team members are reviewed on an annual basis, where both strengths and areas for improvement are discussed. An employee is never promoted off a single manager’s perspective, but instead is evaluated off the input from a number of managers that work closely with that employee. We have found this to be a very successful approach in employee evaluation. Thank you for your time, and we wish you all the best.

Excellent work life balance for sales, opportunity to work remote. Good earning potential if you want to work a lot.

Kontras

Not really good for upper movement. I wouldn’t want to be a manager.

We are proud to offer uncapped commissions because they create strong earning potential, and we recognize that metrics alone do not define a great employee experience. While we do have consistent minimum expectations for all sales agents, most of our team regularly surpasses them, with team managers there to support, encourage, and coach agents toward success. We also want to clarify that our recent wave season was more in line with the past couple of record-breaking years. Most importantly, we put employees first. We do not allow clients to mistreat agents, and our Customer Care and Customer Support leadership teams actively step in during difficult client situations to ensure employees feel supported, respected, and backed by leadership.
