      Good environment to work. As the campus is not famous yet, rules are somewhat flexible. Less attempt of administrative control so far.

      Kontras

      Weather not very good at summer. 9th of the 10 UC campuses, that makes the profile looks average. Salary is not very good.

      Great institution serving a diverse student population. Plenty of interesting research labs. Decent benefits.

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.
