      Faculty know what they're doing, other grad students are nice. Nice environment, the city's fine.

      Kontras

      The pay isn't great, but that's expected for grad school. Very little instruction with respect to your teaching duties as a TA, which means the undergrads get varying quality instruction.

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.
