Tutcart has an amazing, collaborative team where everyone’s input is valued. Leadership is transparent, supportive, and truly invests in your growth. The work is meaningful, and you're constantly learning and evolving. Great work-life balance, exciting projects, and a positive atmosphere that motivates you every day.

Kontras

Fast-paced environment may feel overwhelming at times.Minor process improvements could make things even smoother, but overall, it’s a fantastic place to work.

Pros

The interns there are actually helpful. Only interns.

Kontras

No real user base, the codebase is bad & no guidance from seniors as they hire only interns. If you complete your work before deadlines, dont expect free time, they willl pile on more work. Pay is not good, for the hours you have to put in. You can expect 12 hour work days. Meetings can happen any time, there is not structure. The management is non tech, so it is painful to make them understand the feasibility of certain things. The management is also not open to feedback, they want things their way. If the founder is in a good mood, things will be fine. If the founder is in a bad mood, you might get yelled at.

Pros

None worth mentioning from my experience.

Kontras

The company primarily hires interns instead of full-time employees to cut costs, creating a culture of exploitation. Interns are forced to work 12+ hours a day, far beyond any reasonable expectation for an internship. If an intern wishes to leave, the CEO (Mr. Sapera) threatens them with legal action and withholds their stipends/salary as a form of punishment. The company has no active users or tutors, raising serious concerns about its long-term sustainability. Leadership is unprofessional and uses intimidation tactics rather than mentorship or constructive feedback. No learning, no career growth, and no team culture — just pressure, fear, and fake promises. Stay far away from TutCart if you value your mental health, professional growth, or ethical working conditions. Like many failing edtech startups, this one shows all the signs of a company destined to shrink and collapse.
