Leadership is lost in the sauce, meatballs flying past their heads. Non-technical people in IT management adds unnecessary lag time to every project. This leads to bottlenecks and stagnation. They need to hire more junior people to offload the work from seniors, but the problem is, the seniors that have been there forever are crusty and won’t play nice with others. The ELT doesn’t keep them selves accountable for the poor performance, and continues reorganizing to figure it out. They lay off the people who are actually trying to fix things while keeping others around.
