Pros
I worked at a site that was far removed from leadership. As such, there was little involvement in my day to day, which also meant very little oversight from management. Best perks were the flexible PTO. Salary was solid for the work required.
Kontras
There was no consistent cost of living raise, nor any form of bonus or incentive pay structure to encourage loyalty to the company. Because of the very hands off approach from management, one of my fellow employees abused the flexible time off system horribly, but she was never in danger of losing her job because management refused to address it even when it was brought up several times.
