Pros
- Very ambitious goal: Token wants to change payments completely -- it doesn't get much bigger than that, both in terms of market size and in terms of the number of people the technology could touch. - Bright Team: I admire the team Token has so far. From the engineers, to designers, to sales, to operations, everyone is very engaged, detailed oriented, and just plain smart. I've worked at companies like Google before, and this is definitely the most high performing team I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of. - Intellectual Arguments and Ownership: what I like about discussions at Token, is that they are very rational and focused on logical arguments. It doesn't matter if you are a junior engineer, a senior engineer, a designer, or the CEO, as long as you bring an interesting point to the table and can back it up with arguments, the whole team is willing to listen and, if needed, change directions. - Energetic Leadership: the CEO, COO, CTO, and VPs of the company are not only incredibly smart, but also very warm and energetic people, which makes them a blast to work with.
Kontras
- Perks: not as many perks as in big tech companies, although things are changing as the company grows and raises more money
