      OK kitchenette, work on land mine alternatives

      Kontras

      Hostile management. No future for product line. No rewards. No appreciation. Unpleasant work environment. Has been in a layoff mode for 30 years, is not changing.

      Pros

      Friendly people at the lower levels. Great at putting up with lots of nonsense and “pivoting”.

      No effort in employee retention. Lots of employees leaving (whether by their own choice or not) yet there is very little effort in finding replacements, leading to higher work loads with no increase in compensation. Pay is uncompetitive and raises and nowhere near enough to make up the difference.
